Terms of use
Last updated 23 September 2026
DeFiLoops is a project, not yet a company. No legal entity has been incorporated to operate it, so these terms are a statement of how the software is offered and what we expect of you — not a contract with a company you could sue.
Read that in both directions. The limitations below give us less protection than the same words would give an incorporated business, and they give you less to hold on to. If that is not a trade you want to make, do not connect a wallet with money in it.
What DeFiLoops is
Software that plans and runs multi-step DeFi workflows — lending, liquidity, hedging, swaps — across Base, Arbitrum and Ethereum. An agent proposes the steps. You sign them. The chain executes them.
Non-custodial, and what that actually means
- We never hold your funds.
- We never hold your keys, and cannot recover them if you lose them.
- The agent holds no key that can spend your money and cannot name a destination for it. Nothing moves until you start it.
The flip side is the part people skim: there is nobody to reverse a transaction. Not us, because we cannot. Not a bank, because there is no bank. A signed transaction is final the moment it lands.
This is not advice
Nothing here or in the product is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to enter any position. A workflow the agent proposes is a description of what it would do, not an opinion that you should. What you do with your money is yours to decide and yours to answer for.
The risks you are taking
You can lose everything you put in. Specifically, and not exhaustively:
- Smart contract risk — ours, and every protocol a workflow touches.
- Market risk — liquidation, impermanent loss, slippage, a price that moves between signing and execution.
- Chain risk — congestion, reorgs, a bridge that stalls, a node that lies.
- Key risk — lose your key and the funds are gone, permanently, with no recourse to anyone.
- Automation risk — a workflow you scheduled runs when you are not watching. That is the point of it, and it is a risk.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or over. You must not be in, or acting for anyone in, a country under comprehensive sanctions, and you must not be on a sanctions list. Do not use this where using it is illegal — we do not check for you, and "the software let me" is not a defence anyone accepts.
What you agree not to do
- Break the law with it, or use it to launder money or finance anything violent.
- Attack it — the service, the contracts, or other people's accounts.
- Scrape other users' data, or try to work out who they are from on-chain activity we surface.
- Present it as yours, or strip the notices off it.
The software is provided as is
No warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. It may have bugs. It may be unavailable. A price it shows you may be stale by the time you act on it, and a simulation that passes is not a promise that execution will.
To the maximum extent the law allows, nobody involved in building this is liable for lost funds, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. As above: with no company, this clause protects less than its wording suggests, and you should treat the practical limit of your recourse as zero.
Third parties
Workflows interact with protocols nobody here controls — Aave, Uniswap, Morpho, CCTP and others — and with infrastructure providers for nodes, simulation and broadcasting. Their behaviour, their outages and their bugs are theirs. Their terms are theirs too, and using them through this product does not exempt you from them.
Availability
No uptime promise. The product may change, break, or stop. Because it is non-custodial, your funds do not depend on it continuing to exist: your positions live on the chain and in contracts you control, and they remain reachable without us.
Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend one that is being used to attack the service or to break the law.
Changes
When these change, the date at the top changes, and continuing to use the product means you accept the new version. Material changes will be said out loud on the site.
Governing law
Not yet settled, because there is no entity to be governed. When one exists this section will name the law and the forum, and the date above will change. Until then, no choice of law or forum is being asserted over you.
